The Champagne with the poster.

 

 

Since the beginning of the 20th century, Leonetto Cappiello, Alphonse Mucha, Jules Cheret, all the large 
poster artists of the Art nouveau will carry out posters for the house of Champagne. 

Often dared, sometimes surprising, documents of file as a will with regard to the houses which do not exist any more, the poster becomes a tradition for certain House of Chamapgne. 

In 1902 Cappiello carries out the first poster for Champagne de Castellane. 
Throughout the century the barred label of the Red Cross of Saint-Andrew 
becomes the reason for multiple posters. 

The Artists follow one another and the posters remain. 

The tradition remains with the wire of time with the recent achievements of Savignac and Ty Wilson. 
One can say that the poster constitutes the memory of Champagne 
throughout its history since the years 1900.
